Martin and I

[November 20th, 2005]

Today was the big game, my first trip to the new Gillette Stadium. Mr. Robert Kraft did a wonderful job designing and building this GREAT Stadium!

It's beautiful to look at, the sight-lines are great from everywhere, and the concourses and amenities are fantastic!

This was the view from our seats.

Here's a pic I shot from the Smoking Section at the West End of our concourse. Look for the Red Arrow. That shows where our seats were and also shows my long-time buddy Martin who gave me the ticket. That ticket cost $75.00, way up there in the cheap seats! I wonder what the tickets in the GOOD seats cost.

Here we were

Here's a shot of the lighthouse, the signature feature of this great stadium.

Here's a shot of the Patriots Train, mentioned above waiting for us to return from the game.

My boss got me tickets to the Famous "Snow Bowl Game". It was the last game played in Foxboro Stadium. And, Boy, did we send the stadium off into history with a bang, defeating the heavily-favored Oakland Raiders in overtime to get to play for the AFC Championship.

I only got to go to one game at Foxboro Stadium, but I lucked out and got to go to the last and one of the best!
