The Stompers 32nd Anniversary Show

at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, New Hampshire

In the fall of 2009, The Stompers announced a 32nd Anniversary show, to be held at the Tupelo Music Hall in Londonderry, N.H. on the night of November 28th, the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend. My old friend John Franklin called me up to ask if I wanted to go to the show, and I said "YES". I would arrange for passes to the show, and he would hire a limousine, for transportation, so we would not have to worry about driving home. And early that evening the limo showed up at my address and off we went, with our friendly driver Steve at the wheel.

On the way, we stopped to buy some beer and had dinner at the Cafe Teresa, in Londonderry. And then, on to the venue. The Tupelo Music Hall is and intimate room with a small stage. They have a BYOB policy and you have to pay $3.00 to drink in there. They usually have seating at tables, but for this sold out show, they removed all the tables and set up rows of chairs.

The Band and show were awesome. Sal and the boys Rocked for at least two hours, playing all the old favorite Stompers songs and the crowd was on their feet and singing along with every song. I was hoarse for two days after the show!
